2022 · The start
We needed people to play with, so we started a company. By year one, we were courtside with tennis fans.
WHY X
Two circles meant meeting.
X means change.
We started as an app for finding a hitting partner. Our first icon: two circles, two people meeting. In August 2022 we swapped it for an X. Meeting was the start. Changing the game was the point.

We set out to turn the old, clunky ways of tennis into something simpler and sharper. The X carries that promise.

When racket meets ball, the path draws an X. Smash + X. That’s smaxh.

We put our look into one brand book. With our slogan, the X came to mean getting better.

So we let players book courts right in the app, and let court owners fill empty weekday hours.

Film your swing and see it in 3D. Your game in numbers, not guesses.
xlab’s 3D swing analysis was certified in a TIPS R&D project, then grew into X-Vision, our video-based analysis.

WHY · TIER MATCH · FEB 2025
Show your level with results, not years played
Uneven matches were a long-standing problem. Instead of self-reported levels, we built tiers that grow from real match results.
How we got there
- 1/6Nov 2023We started asking how to cut down on uneven, frustrating matches.
- 2/6Oct 2024First plan: the host enters the score and players approve it. Five tiers.
- 3/6Nov 2024We added Ace and Grand Slam and settled on eight tiers.
- 4/6Jan 2025To stop self-reported NTRP from buying a high tier, a provisional tier now needs 3 matches, not 1, to become official.
- 5/6Feb 2025Tier Match launched. Players said levels still varied within a tier, so we let hosts recruit by sub-tier.
- 6/6Jul 2025We announced Season 1 and a tier final at Olympic Park. EVERY MATCH MATTERS.

In LA, our first try, people mostly played with friends they already had. So we chose New York, dense and subway-linked like Seoul, and started with crews who host.
